Connect the pipes

Michael Porter once said that good strategy is internally consistent - meaning, for it to succeed every function needs to align with it and execute it flawlessly. Seems simple and straightforward enough, right? But, internal disconnection is the #1 challenge I see each day to strategies in execution, so it’s harder than it sounds, and because it is so obvious is why so many overlook this small, but critical, point.
