The worst piece of advice - ever

I can’t count how many times I have seen people run away from massive opportunities to grow, and reason to themselves that they prefer to play to their strengths. I understand the instinct and I have received the “play to your strengths” coaching from many a well-meaning advisor. However, if being consequential is the goal, it is the one piece of advice that I never give and never like to receive.
