Begin with yourself

Perspective is everything and so is self awareness. When I onboard to a new environment I try to talk to as many people as possible. I often hear about the great projects each person is working on and learn about what’s broken and who broke it. Even if everyone agrees that an organization is in crisis, no one ever sees themselves as part of the problem.
