Keep your focus

I wake up each day and go through the motions like everyone else. When I leave home I always know where I am headed but equally aware, consciously and subconsciously, of many distractions around me that one can never inoculate from - the lady who clutches her bag tighter and crosses the street quickly, the fellow passenger who asks to move to another seat, the nervous kid who thinks you are selling something he needs, the policeman who stares a little too long and tails you for a while, the flight staff that calls “excuse me” as you work on the blue carpet, the workmate who makes a comment that snaps your head back, the answer of “no” before you even ask the question, the security guard in your path whose aggression becomes sheepish embarrassment when he confirms who your appointment is indeed with. All of which can derail your focus or tempt you to disastrous alternate paths or reactions. However, it is critical to remain glued on why you left home in the first place and keep your energy and time channeled towards it.

These are some of my moments - you all have yours, but the advice is still the same. Remember home, keep in mind your goal, find a positive place to draw strength from and stay focused - you hold the keys to make it all work out. #RealWinTips
